Questions, answered

Do we need to buy new cameras?

Usually not. VIP-Sense works with the IP/CCTV cameras most stores already have, as long as one can see faces clearly at the entrance. During setup we check your cameras and, if needed, add or reposition a single one.

Does it change how our staff or POS work?

No. Your staff keep using your current till exactly as they do. VIP-Sense listens for sales and matches them to the recognised customer automatically — no double entry, no extra steps.

Is this private and legal?

Privacy is built in. Customers are only enrolled with their consent (e.g. joining your VIP programme at the counter), data is encrypted and isolated per business, and recognition runs on-site. We help you with consent flow and in-store signage.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Recognition keeps working. The on-site device holds a secure local copy and syncs to the cloud automatically when the connection returns.

We have multiple branches — does it work across them?

Yes. A VIP enrolled at any branch is recognised at all of them. Each branch only sees its own activity, while the owner gets a full view across every store.
