1. The service. VIP-Sense helps retail businesses recognise and serve customers who have consented to join their VIP programme, via on-site recognition, a dashboard, and cloud storage of your business data.
2. Your account. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and take responsibility for the users you invite and the access you grant.
3. Customer data & consent. You are the controller of your customers' data. You must obtain clear consent before enrolling anyone, display in-store notice that AI-assisted recognition is in use, and never identify non-consenting individuals. Misuse may result in suspension.
4. Fees & billing. Billed per store, monthly or yearly, plus a one-time hardware setup fee. A free pilot may be offered; continued use afterwards requires a paid subscription. You can cancel anytime; access continues to period end.
5. Acceptable use. Do not reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the service, and do not attempt to access other businesses' data.
6. Privacy. Data is encrypted, isolated per business, and recognition runs on-site. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Liability. The service is provided on a commercially reasonable basis; liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding three months, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Termination. On termination you may export your data, after which it is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

Your branches. Each branch gets its own Store ID — put that in
that branch's edge box (Jetson) .env as
STORE_ID. All branches share the same brand, so a VIP is
recognized across all of them.
Tip: to close a branch, turn off "Active" (keeps its history & stops its alerts) rather than deleting it.

Invite staff and control what each person can see. Assign a role and a branch. A staff member assigned to a branch only sees that branch's alerts & visits.
Live Alerts are always visible. Brand settings (VIP tiers) stay with the owner. The person signs up with this email (business-name field left blank) and joins automatically.

VIP tiers by lifetime spend. The lowest active tier is the enrollment floor — customers below it are not enrolled. On each sale, a customer auto-upgrades to the highest tier their total qualifies for. Changes apply to new sales immediately.
